Rumah produksi yang membuat film Lord of The Rings dan The Matrix berencana membuat film internasional tentang kehidupan Nabi Muhammad. Film ini merupakan upaya menghapus pemikiran secara umum yang beredar luas tentang Islam di Eropa dan belahan negara non muslim.

Rencana pembuatan film ini ingin membuat sebuah film berbahasa Inggris blockbuster bagi sekitar 1,5 milyar umat Islam di dunia.

Film kepahlawanan nabi tersebut dibiayai oleh Al Noor Holding, sebuah perusahaan media dari Qatar. Filmnya akan disesuaikan dengan aturan Islam dan sama sekali tidak menampilkan atau menggambarkan nabi Muhammad dalam film itu. Film tersebut akan mengisahkan segala hal yang terjadi disekitar lingkungan nabi dan pengaruh nabi Muhammad dalam lingkungan sekitar.

“Film ini akan menyoroti kehidupan Nabi sejak sebelum lahir sampai meninggalnya,” Ahmad Abdullah Al-Mustafa, ketua Al Noor Holdings, mengatakan kepada televisi Al-Jazeera yang berbasis di Doha, Minggu 1 November .

Anggaran pembuatan film ini sekitar 150 juta dollar yang dijadwalkan dimulai pembuatannya pada tahun 2011. “Film diperkirakan akan memakan waktu antara 25 sampai 30 bulan,” kata Abdullah.

  Film yang sempat mendapat kritikan tajam dari berbagai kalangan di Indonesia ini ‘Menculik Miyabi’ akhirnya akan dirilis 6 Mei 2010.

  Film yang dibintangi Maria Ozawa memang banyak menuai kontroversi dikarenakan Maria Ozawa adalah juga bintang porno yang sudah banyak dikenal masyarakat!

  Maxima Picture mengungkapkan film yang digarap oleh sutradara Findo Purnomo itu telah lulus sensor. “Sudah lulus sensor kok. Dapat kategorinya remaja,” ujar sang produser Odi Mulya Hidayat saat berbincang dengan detikhot lewat telepon, Selasa (4/5/2010).

  ‘Menculik Miyabi’ rencananya akan diputar di bioskop pada 6 Mei mendatang. Selain Maria, film tersebut juga dibintangi Nicky Tirta, Herfiza Novianty, Kevin Julio dan Rizky Mocil. Naskah ‘Menculik Miyabi’ pun ditulis oleh Marqee.

  Di film tersebut, Maria Ozawa berperan sebagai Miyabi, perempuan yang mendapat tugas untuk menjemput pemenang kuis di Indonesia. Namun, ia malah diculik oleh tiga remaja culun.

  Pada September 2009 lalu, penggarapan film ‘Menculik Miyabi’ gagal karena mendapat protes dari beberapa pihak. Sejumlah kalangan terutama kalangan agama menolak Miyabi datang ke Indonesia.

  Kali ini bali dihebohkan dengan film dokumenter yang menceritakan sepak terjang gigolo alias pria penghibur wanita bertajuk Cowboys Paradise.

  Film dokumenter itu pertama kali beredar di kalangan pengguna internet. Mereka bisa melihat triller-nya di situs video Youtube.

  Cuplikan berdurasi sekitar 2 menit itu menggambarkan kehidupan dan aktivitas pemuda petualang cinta di Bali, khususnya Pantai Kuta. Sosok para pemuda ini berbadan atletis dan berkulit gelap. Sebagian besar juga berambut gondrong. Pokoknya penampilan mereka khas anak pantai yang piawai dengan olah raga bahari seperti berselancar. Bahasa asing mereka, terutama Inggris, lumayan lancar.

  Mereka terlihat sangat pengalaman dalam menarik perhatian para turis wanita. Dalam beberapa adegan, mereka terlihat sangat dimanja oleh para turis itu, seperti dipijat dan sebagainya.

  Amit Wirmani, yang menggarap film ini memberi tajuk filmnya ‘Cowboys Paradise’. Para pemuda ini digambarkan memang bak para koboi yang menggoda para turis perempuan. Pria keturunan India itu tidak hanya menampilkan para gigolo, tapi juga menampilkan wawancara dengan salah satu istri gigolo tersebut. Wanita itu mengaku, suaminya kerap membawa turis wanita bule ke rumahnya.

  “Jika dia (suami) datang bersama tamu, saya tidak tidur bersamanya 1 atau 2 hari. Saya tidak mengapa,” tutur wanita tersebut sambil menggondong anaknya yang masih kecil.

  Keberatan

  Beredarnya film tersebut tentu saja membuat panas warga Kuta. Mereka menolak dengan tegas, jika Pantai Kuta disebut sebagai surga seks bebas para gigolo.

  “Warga desa adat tidak setuju jika pantai Kuta disebut sebagai tempat seks bebas bagi para gigolo,” kata Ketua Satgas Pantai Kuta Gusti Ngurah Tresna, kepada detikcom, Senin (26/4/2010).

  Tresna mengatakan bahwa masyarakat Kuta sangat dirugikan dengan film tersebut. Menurutnya, kawasan wisata Pantai Kuta menawarkan keindahan alam dan budayanya, bukan wisata seks bagi para wisatawan.
